What is WordPress Pro Hosting?

WordPress Pro Hosting is our zero-stress service which allows us to manage your WordPress installation and keep it optimized, up to date, secure, and running efficiently. We will constantly check your websites uptime, manage your updates automatically weekly for Plugins, Themes, and Core WP files, check security and performance daily, run analyics on your site, and send you weekly reports. We’ll also provide you support and guidance when you need it for most anything regarding WordPress.

I don't host with Clark Site Solutions, can I use WPH?

No, our solution is an all-in-one hosting solution not designed for lacing with other hosting providers. 

What is Uptime Monitor?

With our Uptime Monitor service, we will constantly monitor your website for it’s uptime. If your website goes down, we get to work immediately to get it resolved before your audience ever notices. In most cases, this can be resolved quickly, esspecially if your website is hosted with us. You will recieve an email notification with what we find and when it’s resolved. 

If you do not host your website with Clark Site Solutions, we will send you a notification to your email and you will need to reach out to your hosting provider to resolve the issue. 

What is Daily Security Check?

We check your website daily for malware, vulnerabilities, and ensure your site is not listed on one of the blacklist networks preventing your audience from reaching you. We will do our best to resolve the issue for you if one is found and you will receive an email with what we find and the resolution.


What is Performance Check?

We run tests of your website performance daily to ensure that your site is running smoothly. As part of these tests, you will get the results in our weekly report and any recommendations for improving your site will be sent separately from the main report.

We will do our best to provide you with support and guidance to improve your performance score. Depending on the results of the report in certain catagories (i.e. image sizing) we cannot correct these issues for you, but can point you in the right direction to improve your performance score as quickly and as easily as possible.

What is Google Analytics?

Google Analytics is the leading analytics solutions used by bloggers and large scale businesses alike. It gives you access to see number of users, behavior, locations of your users (down to the city), average load times, amount of time users spend on your website, and more. 

We will connect your website to Google Analytics and provide administrative access to a google account of your choice. We also include weekly analytics in your weekly report. 

Do I need a Google Account to use Google Analytics?

We will connect Google Analytics to your website through our system. If you do not have a Google Account for us to give access to, you will still receive Google Analytics insights in your weekly report gathered over the course of seven days. If at any time, you create a google account and you’d like it to be connected, you can let us know by submitting a support ticket through your WordPress dashboard. 

What is Maintenance Mode?

Maintenance Mode is an optional mode we can enable for your website that provides a “website under construction” or “website coming soon” graphic to your audience. Users who are logged into your WordPress site will be able to see and interact with the front end of your site while outside members of your audience are waiting for your content to be released. 

If you’d like us to activate “Maintenance Mode”, simply submit a support ticket through your WordPress dashboard. To have us disable “Maintenance Mode” submit another ticket and we will disable it for you as well. 

How do I manage my email?

Your email account is managed by your cPanel account for your domain. You are able to create as many email accounts as you like. As you have more email coming to the accounts it may be necessary to upgrade your storage capacity. 

We also offer dedicated webmail hosting and solutions with Google Workspace. 

What is Managed Plugins and Themes?

As a part of our WordPress Website Care service, we will keep all of your plugins, themes, and core WordPress files up to date. We make these updates weekly, every Monday morning. If you find there are errors with your site, following these updates (we cannot make guarantees for how third-party plugins and themes work together with updates), let us know before 9:00 PM the same day so we can roll back your website to what it was Sunday night before we completed the updates. 

If there are any plugins or themes, or core wordpress files, you would not like to be updated automatically, it is your responsibility to let us know Sunday before 9:00 PM by submitting a support ticket through your WordPress dashboard.

*This only works for current hosting customers as we make full nightly backups of your website that are easy to restore. 

If you do not host with us and you would like backup protection, there is an additional charge of $5.00 making your total $19.99/mo. for our WordPress Website Care service. 

What information do I get in my Weekly Report?

Our weekly report provides a snapshot of all of the services we provided to you within that week. It will show you how many times we scanned your website for security and performance with the results of those scans, any updates we ran to your plugins and themes, keyword rankings, a summarized report of the  support we provided, uptime monitoring, and a google analytics snapshot of the week. 

What support can I get and how do I get it?

WordPress powers over 33.3% of the internet today. Although it is one of the most popular website systems on the planet, it can still be difficult and confusing at times. Getting plugins, themes, design, and your content to all interact together can be a challenge.

We are here for you not only to provide the best service possible with each of our WordPress Website Care elements, but also by providing you with knowlege and guidance to the best of our ability when you don’t know where to go next. We cannot guarantee support for all themes and plugins but can aid you in creative solutions to accomplish your goals.

Support is very easy to access by one of three ways:

1.WordPress Dashboard – when you subscribe to our WordPress Website Care, simply click the “Support” tab in your WordPress Dashboard, type your message, and submit.

2.Client Portal – login to our client portal (for existing customers) and submit a support ticket.

3. Email – Email [email protected] directly with your question or concern.

No matter how you submit your request, it will enter our system and be answered in the order it was received.
